Description Mambray Creek is located in the Mount Remarkable National Park, about 3 hours by car from Adelaide or half an hour from Port Pirie. It offers many trails for a range of hiking abilities, suitable for day hikes or extended treks. There are barbeque and picnic facilities at the camp grounds as well as showers and toilets.
Directions: Mount Remarkable National Park is located 45km north of Port Pirie. Access is via National Highway one. Access from National Highway one is via the park headquarters at Mambray Creek (5km) or a picturesque drive commencing 1km south of Wilmington on Main North Rd to Alligator Gorge (13km).
Walking access is provided from Melrose, which lies at the foot of Mount Remarkable.
