Description
A visit to Semaphore would not be complete without a ride on the Semaphore and Fort Glanville Tourist Railway. Hop aboard for the 4km trip to Point Malcolm and back along Adelaide's pristine beaches, sand dunes and the Esplanade. A fun weekend or school holiday activity for the whole family.

Time required:
Allow 30 minutes for the return journey.

Price
$8 for adults, $5 for children (3 to 5 years) or $20 for a family pass (2 adults with 2 children)

When
Every Sunday and Public Holiday from October to April (inclusive).

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the School Holidays in September/October, December/January, and April.

Please Note: The Semaphore and Fort Glanville Tourist Railway does not operate if the forecast temperature for Adelaide is 35 degrees or higher on the morning of operation.

Directions: Take the Outer Harbour train line to Glanville station then walk down Semaphore Road to the foreshore. Parking is available nearby however fills up quickly during busy periods.

The whole family is sure to enjoy this picturesque train ride along the beautiful beaches of Semaphore. This is a "must do" experience and one that will be remembered for many years to come.
